Synopsis
Michelle Fox, a sensationalist reporter, hosts the TV show *Weird World*, which covers outlandish topics such as UFOs and aliens. Upon hearing about Cat, a young woman who claims she and her boyfriend were abducted by aliens and that she became pregnant as a result, Fox convinces her boss to send a team to the remote Welsh island of Scalled to interview Cat. The team includes cameraman Ricky Anderson, his sound technician partner, ufology and ley lines expert Gavin Gorman, actress Candy Vixen, and an obscure gay actor. They travel by van, waiting for low tide to reach the island. When they find evidence suggesting aliens have landed in the area, the ambitious Fox decides to pursue the story in hopes of gaining fame and wealth.
