Facteur chance

Set in a small provincial town near Paris on New Year's Eve, the story follows three childhood friends, including a postman, who decide to stage an amateur burglary at their local postal sorting center. Initially a lighthearted act of protest against the layoffs of their colleagues and friends due to unbridled liberalism, their plan takes a turn when the door behind them closes and the security code changes. Trapped inside, they are joined by a young woman who has locked herself in to retrieve a breakup letter she regrets sending. As dawn approaches and the door is set to reopen, they realize their escape will lead not to freedom but to prison. Over the course of the night, the four experience a range of emotions—from hope and disillusionment to powerlessness and anger—as they desperately search for a way out of their unexpected and dangerous predicament.
