Family Blessings
Synopsis
Lee Reston is a widow whose son, Greg, a police officer, dies in a car accident. Greg's friend and fellow officer, Chris Lallek, attempts to support the Reston family in the wake of Greg's death. Over time, Chris and Lee grow close and develop a romantic relationship. However, Lee is fifteen years older than Chris, a fact that causes tension with much of her family, particularly her college-aged daughter. When Chris proposes marriage, Lee must decide whether to pursue the relationship despite the potential to alienate her family.
