Synopsis
A vibrant and intimate documentary centered around Nina Queer, one of Berlin’s most iconic party transvestites, and her colorful entourage. Set against the pulsating backdrop of the Kreuzberg club Musik & Frieden, the film captures the energy and extravagance of the legendary "Irrenhouse" party, which Nina has hosted for years. The camera follows its protagonists — trans women, DJs, drag performers, and devoted partygoers — from their private preparations at home to their journey to the club, offering rare glimpses behind the scenes of Berlin’s queer nightlife. These personalities share their stories, reflecting on what makes "Irrenhouse" and Nina Queer such enduring symbols of freedom, expression, and community.
