Fire

This Irwin Allen production captures the terrifying and awe-inspiring force of a raging forest fire, featuring a prominent cast and extensive special effects. The story centers on a lumber mill owner, played by Ernest Borgnine, a widowed forest lodge operator portrayed by Vera Miles, a teacher on a class outing played by Donna Mills, a country doctor played by Lloyd Nolan, a couple—Patty Duke Astin and Alex Cord—whose troubled marriage is tested and improved through their experience, and two escaping convicts, Neville Brand and Erik Estrada, who use the fire to conceal their movements.
