Synopsis

Erica Falck, a successful detective writer, is considering basing her next book on a mysterious event from her childhood. When she was 13, her close friend and classmate, Peter, boarded a bus and then disappeared. The incident has left a lasting impact on her, marking her first encounter with a real-life mystery. As she begins to investigate what truly happened to Peter, it seems she has stirred something long buried. When Ivan, Peter's only living connection and his brother, who was on his way to visit her, is stabbed and killed, Erica's mission expands to not only uncovering the truth about Peter but also identifying Ivan's murderer. During a high school reunion, the tension rises when Tina, Peter and Ivan's enigmatic sister, unexpectedly appears. Later at the party, another murder occurs, bringing Erica closer to the truth about Peter's disappearance.
