Synopsis
Seagal portrays Mr. Alexander, a traditional mob boss who governs his criminal organization with a mix of dignity and ruthlessness. For a routine prison assassination, he entrusts the task to his top enforcer and protégé, Roman Hurst (Foster). When the mission fails, Hurst is punished for his mistake by being exiled from the city he once nearly controlled. Meanwhile, a conflict is emerging over the city's control between Alexander, a ruthless gangster known as "The Iceman" (Rhames), and a brutal Mexican cartel. Hurst, aided by a former convict and restaurant owner (Trejo) with his own set of concealed skills, must reclaim his strength to endure the impending war and seek retribution against those who betrayed him.
