Forest of Echoes

In the forest during a summer holiday, a teenager named Christina loses her friends and, searching for them, discovers the bodies of three drowned children on the shore of a lagoon. Meanwhile, three other kids, who are cousins, are playing near a lake when they encounter the body of a drowned young woman floating in the water. As the story unfolds, games, lies, and rituals blur the boundaries between reality and illusion, creating a sense of circular time in which death is no longer absolute. The narrative questions the nature of reality itself, leaving it unclear what is real and what is a mirage, and who is dreaming and who is being dreamed.
