Synopsis
Lizzie and Alex Brooks are a young couple in love and the parents of a little girl named Emma. Lizzie falls into a coma after suffering a stroke, and Alex brings her home, dedicating years to providing love, care, and devotion. Gail, Lizzie's best friend, supports Alex with a close friendship and helps care for Emma in Lizzie's absence. Twenty years later, Lizzie wakes from the coma and begins the difficult process of readjusting to a world that has changed significantly. Emma, who is about to get married, is overjoyed to have her mother back, as are Alex and Gail.
