Fratelli Ferretti contro Real Madrid

Achille is an aqua aerobics teacher who once played water polo internationally. Living near Perugia, he is 43 years old and still harbors dreams of becoming a sports champion, regardless of the discipline. He attempts to join a golf team, but his miniature golf skills are not well received at the club. As his dream begins to fade, he discovers that miniature golf is indeed an official sport, reigniting his hope. To have a real chance at becoming a champion in minigolf, he needs the mathematical expertise of his brother, Ferruccio. Ferruccio was a mathematics professor in America and recently quit his job and returned home after experiencing a psychic breakdown. The brothers have not seen each other since their mother’s funeral 18 years ago. Their renewed cohabitation proves difficult, but with the help of Noelle, a young African immigrant and waitress at the local bar, the brothers gradually reconnect and begin to function as a team once more, much like when they were children and were once able to challenge even Real Madrid.
