Synopsis
Stereotypes such as being lazy, idle, effeminate, and prone to striking are commonly applied to the French, and these preconceived notions are particularly popular among Anglo-Saxons, who enjoy spreading them globally. These stereotypes are especially prevalent in political and cultural spheres. Concerned about projecting a positive image internationally, French politicians are making efforts to restore the country's prestige. This phenomenon, known as "French Bashing," carries diplomatic significance and has notable consequences.
