Synopsis
*Friend Request Pending* is a twelve-minute short comedy drama that explores the challenges of the mature generation navigating modern social networking in the context of dating. The film centers on Mary (played by Judi Dench) and Linda (played by Penny Ryder), who spend an afternoon discussing the joys, complications, and difficulties of using online platforms to pursue Trevor (played by Philip Jackson), the local choirmaster. The story emphasizes themes of love and, more significantly, lifelong friendship.
