When longtime friends Julie and Jason agree to raise a baby together while staying single, dating new partners forces them to confront unexpected romantic feelings that could upend their carefully balanced “time‑share” parenting plan.

Synopsis
After their friends get married and start having children, Julie and Jason, who have been close friends for a long time, decide to have a child together without entering into a romantic relationship. They opt for a "time-share" parenting arrangement, believing this will allow them to enjoy the experience of raising a child while maintaining their personal independence. However, as both Julie and Jason begin dating other people, they come to realize that they have developed romantic feelings for each other.
