Synopsis
This short film offers a candid portrayal of the tensions between the pressure to conform and the desire to stand out, while also exploring themes of identity, belonging, creative expression, cultural appreciation and appropriation, and the complex interplay between intent, impact, and personal responsibility. Through Kim Villagante's (aka Kimmortal) journey of self-discovery and exploration of what they love, the film presents a story that is doubtlessly unique and likely to resonate with many second-generation immigrant youth.
