From Puppets to Pixels: Digital Characters in 'Episode II'
Synopsis
For *Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones* (2002), the production planned to include significantly more visual effects than in *Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace* (1999). A documentary features numerous visual effects meetings between George Lucas and Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). Many of these meetings center on the development of a fully digital Yoda, marking the first time a digital version of the character would appear in the *Star Wars* films.
