From the Balcony
Synopsis
A story set in a blue-collar neighborhood centers on Lina, a middle-aged woman who never leaves the balcony of her house. Within her visual range, she monitors and intervenes in the daily lives of those around her. People walking by her building and neighbors in the opposite apartments come to realize that no matter what they do, Lina is always watching, day and night. Her interventions range from throwing a bandage during an accident to offering parking advice or alerting the police about a burglary. While some are surprised by her behavior, most are annoyed by her constant surveillance. However, everything changes when Lina loses her son in a car accident and stops going out to her balcony. The neighborhood is never the same again.
