Frontiera
Synopsis
On a ferry heading toward Lampedusa, a teenager begins his first day of work as a gravedigger, and another boy embarks on his first mission as a diver. They are strangers, but when they arrive on the island, both their lives will change irrevocably: one is tasked with retrieving the bodies of those who drowned in shipwrecks, while the other must bury them. The film explores a delicate interplay between life and death, innocence and its inevitable loss.
