Synopsis
Marine biologist Jack Ellway and his son Brandon travel to the Polynesian island of Malau to study the impact of recent seismic activity on local marine life. Joining forces with the island's doctor, Alyson Hart, they become involved in an investigation into a series of recent drownings that yield unexpected findings. As Jack searches the ocean for a mysterious marine creature, Brandon discovers and befriends a three-foot-long baby creature capable of leaving the water and walking on land. When larger and more dangerous creatures emerge on the island, and the military takes aggressive action, Jack must risk everything to protect the creatures, the island, and his son.
