Synopsis
The cartoon presents a story set in Palermo during the 1950s, structured as a fairy tale for children. The main characters are two boys who strive to liberate their neighborhood from an evil wizard who steals people's souls and transforms them into "pupi." The boys are named Giovanni and Paolo, in tribute to Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, who were indeed young friends in Palermo during that period.
