Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Ellis Whitman, raised by a self-absorbed New Age mother and an estranged father, has been guided by an unconventional guardian: a goat-trekking, marijuana-growing sage known as "Goat Man." When Ellis chooses to leave the alternative lifestyle of his desert homestead for a more traditional environment at a stuffy East Coast prep school, significant changes begin to unfold in his life.
