Good Kill
A seasoned drone pilot desperate to reclaim his humanity and fly real aircraft must confront the deadly consequences of his remote warfare as his conscience and marriage unravel.
Synopsis
In the context of drone warfare, combat is often likened to a video game, though with real-world consequences. Air Force pilot Tom Egan, having completed six tours of duty, now engages in combat operations against the Taliban from a climate-controlled facility in the Nevada desert. As Egan grows eager to return to piloting actual aircraft and becomes increasingly distressed over the unintended casualties resulting from his remote actions, his mental state and his marriage begin to deteriorate.
