Synopsis

Brontë Mitchell, an urban horticulturalist, is set on renting a beautiful apartment, but the building's board requires the tenant to be a married couple. Georges Fauré, a French waiter whose visa is about to expire, needs to marry an American woman to remain in the country. Their arrangement as a married couple for convenience becomes a challenge when they are forced to live together to avoid suspicion from immigration authorities, leading to increasing tension as their clashing personalities begin to wear on each other.
