Synopsis
Gwen Shamblin, a charismatic figure with a carefully maintained public image, gained recognition through her Christian-based weight-loss program, "Weigh Down Workshop." She was later accused of exploitation and of engaging in emotional, psychological, and physical abuse through what some described as cult-like practices within the church she was associated with.
