Gyakuryû
Synopsis
Nanjo Mikisaburo is a young samurai determined to restore his family's lost honor and former prestige. Despite facing the scorn and contempt of high-ranking samurai, he dedicates himself to the warrior's path, striving to master both martial and literary arts. His teacher, Kurahashi Jupeita, has a daughter named Misao, who develops feelings for Mikisaburo. Though he maintains his dignity in the face of arrogant samurai, his pride is bolstered by her sympathy and encouragement. This support, however, awakens a deep passion in Mikisaburo for Misao.
