Synopsis
*Hamlet* captures the Almeida Theatre's 2017 production of William Shakespeare's play, recorded live during its West End transfer at London's Harold Pinter Theatre. Robert Icke's modern-dress staging featured Andrew Scott, Juliet Stevenson, Angus Wright, and Jessica Brown Findlay. The production received widespread critical acclaim for its intelligent and contemporary approach. The *Evening Standard* described Andrew Scott's performance as "career-defining... he makes the most famous speeches feel fresh and unpredictable."
