Synopsis
The story traces the early, murderous origins of the cannibalistic killer Hannibal Lecter, beginning with his difficult childhood in Lithuania, where he witnesses the extreme and repulsive measures hungry soldiers take to satisfy their needs. The narrative follows him to France, where, as a medical student, he refines his taste for killing.
