Happenstance
Synopsis
The “Butterfly theory” suggests that seemingly unrelated, random events can set off a chain reaction that leads to unexpected outcomes. In this framework, a series of chance occurrences—such as missing a bus, taking an alternate route, or striking up a brief conversation with a stranger—can gradually bring two people into each other’s paths. Over time, these small, unconnected incidents converge, creating the circumstances in which a young woman and a young man might finally meet.
