Synopsis
In 1960, Eli and Penny take in Eli’s difficult father, Walter, and must manage the resulting family tensions during the holidays while also completing a Christmas-themed time capsule for their son Alex’s school project. In 1998, Regina and Nelson meet for the first time when a blizzard forces Nelson to spend Christmas Eve at Regina’s house. In 2015, Jessie faces a significant challenge while organizing her sister’s last-minute Christmas Eve wedding — the officiant is Tim, her high school sweetheart, whom she hasn’t seen in nearly 20 years.
