Synopsis
At the heart of the story is the life of the indigenous people in the village of Bakhtia, located along the Yenisei River in the Siberian Taiga. The film follows the main characters in the village over the course of a year. The villagers, whose daily routines have changed little over the past centuries, continue to live their lives in accordance with their own cultural traditions.
