Synopsis
Professor David Ash is a scholar who specializes in exposing fraudulent spiritualists and mediums. He is invited to the secluded town of Edbrook to address the anxieties and suffering of its reclusive family. Upon his arrival, Ash begins to question his own perceptions, and the peculiar conduct of the townspeople complicates his mission. Eventually, he discovers that Edbrook holds mysteries beyond his ability to explain.
