Her Desperate Choice

Synopsis
Jody is granted joint custody of her daughter Samantha by the court, despite allegations of child sexual abuse against her ex-husband Marcus. Faced with the decision to hand Samantha over to Marcus or flee with her and risk being charged with kidnapping, Jody chooses the latter. As a result, she and Samantha become the targets of both the FBI and a private detective. With the assistance of an underground network designed to help women and children escape abusive situations, they move from town to town to avoid capture. The story is based on a true event.
