Hijra in Between
Synopsis
After experiencing an unavoidable transformation, what is she? Still him? Two women with different personalities unexpectedly become the best of sisters—He Xizhen and Liu Wanting—who, like the students mentioned above, are connected in complex ways. While Wen Haosheng has long been aware of Liu Wanting, he hopes for his friend Yu Ting’s happiness. As the twins enter into a relationship, the three form a close triangular bond. This dynamic is disrupted when an accident leads Wan Ting to discover she has dual sexual identities, and at this point, she must choose to live as one gender. Wan Ting’s unexpected refusal catches both the twins and Xi Zhen off guard. After many years, Xi Zhen and the twins encounter a seemingly pure young boy, Liu Ting.
