Hitler's Disastrous Desert War
Synopsis
When the British army appears poised to defeat Mussolini's Italian forces in North Africa, Hitler dispatches reinforcements in the form of the Afrika Korps, led by General Erwin Rommel. Rommel, nicknamed the Desert Fox, achieves several victories until British commander Bernard Montgomery devises a strategy to counter him. Following the American landings in North Africa, the Axis forces are compelled to surrender, bringing an end to the Desert War.
