Synopsis
This article explores a lesser-known aspect of Nazi ideology, which extended beyond military conquest to include a vision for reshaping the natural world. As part of their goal to establish a thousand-year Reich, the Nazis developed detailed plans for Aryan settlements and large hunting parks designed for what they considered 'Aryan' animals. Hermann Göring and Heinrich Himmler enlisted Germany's leading scientists in an ambitious program aimed at genetic manipulation, seeking to alter nature both in the wild and in domestic settings. Combining political ideology with biological experimentation, *Hitler's Jurassic Monsters* reveals the true and astonishing story of the Nazis' attempt to control nature and influence the course of evolution.
