Hooked

After winning a prestigious cyber sport tournament, the victorious gamers are given CDs containing a new game. Upon playing the game, they are mysteriously affected, causing their gaming skills to manifest in real life. Each becomes an expert in their respective fields—fighting, shooting, and racing. However, their newfound abilities draw attention from the authorities, who use blackmail, deception, and bribes to recruit them for a "job." As the truth unfolds, it becomes clear that they are not heroes defending their country, but rather paid assassins. The game's producer also possesses many more of the CDs, meaning more individuals like them could be created. Now, the gamers must locate the remaining CDs and decide whether to destroy them or use them to build an army and seize control. The team splits into two factions, each now in conflict with the other.
