Makoto's older brother, Sei, relayed his brother's unilateral breakup message to Yayoi, and then, wanting to take responsibility for his brother's actions, proposed to her. The two got married. Three years later, Makoto suddenly returned home. In reality, the reason they broke up was a scheme orchestrated by Sei, who was jealous of Makoto's success…
