How to Build a Girl
Synopsis
The story follows Johanna Morrigan, a teenager from the Midlands, as she reinvents herself as Dolly Wilde, a sharp-tongued, sexually adventurous young woman who moves to London and takes a job as a music critic in an effort to support her impoverished family in Wolverhampton. The film is based on Caitlin Moran's bestselling semi-autobiographical novel.
