Synopsis
Halley, a teenager, struggles to understand the concept of love as she navigates a complicated family and social life. Her parents are going through a divorce, with her father beginning a relationship with a younger woman that Halley finds difficult to accept. Her older sister is preparing to marry, despite Halley's belief that the groom is not truly right for her. Meanwhile, her best friend experiences her first intense romantic feelings, making Halley feel increasingly isolated. Her perspective begins to shift, however, when she meets Macon, a moody and unconventional boy who helps her discover what love truly means.
