Synopsis
Two victims are found with their earlobes slashed. Inspector Hunkeler suspects brothel owner Garzoni is responsible. Meanwhile, his colleagues Madörin and Lüdi investigate the drug scene. Prosecutor Suter removes Commissioner Hunkeler from the case due to perceived bias, raising questions about whether Hunkeler has become too old for the role. This is the third film adaptation of a case involving the Basel inspector Hunkeler, based on the novel by Hansjörg Schneider.
