Synopsis
Peter grew up during the economic miracle in an environment lacking parental care and affection. He learned early that interpersonal relationships are based on the principles of exchange or purchase, and he follows these rules by giving generous gifts to his family and his wife, Erika. However, when he can no longer maintain this lifestyle, his story takes a disastrous turn.
