Synopsis
Sam, an aspiring stand-up comedian and au pair dealing with PTSD, faces the difficult decision of whether to join the search for Brooke, a teenage girl she once nannied who has gone missing. The narrative alternates between the present, where Sam attempts to recover from her trauma and rebuild her career on stage, and the past, where recollections of Brooke grow harder to ignore as the mystery of her disappearance deepens.
