Synopsis
Producer Carlo Degli Esposti envisioned a trilogy on Liberty, centered on three pivotal moments in the second half of the twentieth century: the repression in Bucharest in 1956, the Prague Spring, and the Berlin Wall. The first and only installment realized in this trilogy is *The Tunnel of Freedom*. The film recounts a tunnel that enabled 36 people to bypass the strict and repressive surveillance of the newly constructed Berlin Wall.
