Ille Lacrimas

Waves ripple across the surface of the sea as a thick fog blankets the distant waters in a dark mist. A disturbance is heard in the sea, just beyond view. A man appears, disoriented and alone, stranded in an unfamiliar place. He searches for answers in the water, the woodland, and the hills, but finds none. As he ventures deeper into the forest, he begins to question his fate and reflects on fragments of his past and what he has lost. Over time, he discovers a cabin, offering him a sense of hope and shelter from the harsh elements. Inside the shack, he finds a book he had lost days earlier. He turns to the book for comfort, revisiting memories of the past. The book consumes him, and he comes to terms with his spiritual end, bringing his journey full circle.
