In the Fire
Synopsis
A doctor from New York travels to a remote plantation in the 1890s to care for a disturbed boy who appears to possess inexplicable abilities. While treating the child, she triggers a conflict between science and religion as the local priest claims the boy is possessed by the devil and responsible for the village’s misfortunes.
