In This House of Brede
Synopsis
Philippa Talbot is a London businesswoman who leaves her career and position to become a nun. Her decision deeply affects the man who loves her. Upon arriving at Brede, a cloistered Benedictine monastery, Philippa discovers that the abbess who encouraged her to pursue this vocation has died. Her successor is Catherine, a compassionate leader who tells the new nun that all members of the community are to love without favoring one person over another. This principle becomes challenging when Joanna, a young nun, becomes emotionally attached to Sister Philippa.
