Infestation
Synopsis
In a not too distant future, a deadly virus has swept across the Earth, claiming billions of lives. Survivors retreated underground. Thirty years later, pilot Loki, plagued with self-blame after a devastating crash, is coaxed back from the edge by his partner Sash. Together, they are assigned a new mission: go topside to retrieve a missing reconnaissance team, with the level of hostility unknown. After a thunderous journey through the Earth's crust, they discover the planet's surface is unrecognizable, now a wasteland of death. As they uncover the fate of the first team, they must choose between staying and dying or staying and fighting. The question remains—what will kill them first, the mutants or the virus?
