Isle of the Damned
“Savage cruelty was their culture... human flesh was their food!”
Synopsis
In Antonello Giallo's follow-up to the notorious *Pleasures of the Damned*, private investigator Jack Steele is hired by a mysterious treasure hunter to help locate the lost treasure of Marco Polo. Joining him on the journey is Jack's adopted son, Billy. Their search leads them to an island off the coast of Argentina, where they fall into the hands of a primitive cannibal tribe known as the Yamma Yamma. Alexis Kinkaid, a reclusive figure who has taken up residence on the island among the cannibals, may hold the key to uncovering the island's secrets—if they survive the dangers of the tribe first. *Isle of the Damned*, originally released in Italy in 1980, drew further criticism from the Italian government, who were outraged by the film's graphic and realistic depictions of primitive tribal rituals and cannibalism. Long out of print, the film is now presented in a digitally remastered format.

How many hands made this film
The scale of the collaboration
Principal cast & crew: 14
These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.
Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
