Synopsis

"It Takes a Cult" is a thought-provoking a documentary that explores the infamous Love Family commune that started in Seattle in the late 1960s. As someone who grew up as part of the Love Family, director Eric Johannsen provides an insider's look at what brought this group together and how time has changed the family and its members.
