A group of lonely Danes enroll in a beginner's Italian class, hoping to learn more than just vocabulary as their lives intertwine in a comedy about love, longing, and second chances.

Synopsis
In a semi-provincial suburb of a Danish town, several lonely individuals attend a beginner's course in Italian, using it as an opportunity to encounter the romance they desire. The film explores the relationships and family dramas among the students, and adheres to the aesthetic principles of the Dogme 95 movement.
