Synopsis

Henry Jekyll is a troubled man. His wife died of pneumonia. He is drawn to his sister-in-law, but her father has forbidden any contact between them. His experiments into the dual nature of man have produced a drug capable of splitting his personality, which he has tested on himself, transforming into an uninhibited brute who indulges in violent and undignified pleasures. Jekyll quickly becomes addicted to the sordid freedom the drug provides. He is able to commit the most enjoyable yet revolting acts, then return to his laboratory and use an antidote to revert to his original form, allowing his respected public persona to remain untarnished.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 17

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
